Our plant-based Vegan gelato is entirely animal-product free. Instead of milk protein, we use a combination of plant proteins, each portion kept small enough to prevent flavoring the product.
We use all-natural vegan Hokkaido cream flavor to replace the flavor of butterfat, resulting in a vegan gelato that is cholesterol-free, identical in both texture and flavor to classic Italian. You can’t tell the difference! Sherbets and sorbets of course never contain any animal products.
Our Vegan Express base is made the same way as the others: Just add bag of base to 2L of just-boiled water, mix, chill, add to batch machine.
